bombs over hiroshima

teaching takes up too much of my time and is secondary to why i am here.

hard to not spend all your time thinking about teaching since i am doing it 4 days a week, constantly need lesson plans, constantly need to understand things and make sure they understand things.  freshmen composition is not something i will be teaching the future.

otherwise, i am not writing many of my own poems, but have instead been doing collaborations with another poet in my program.  my individual outlets have both…stalled due to reasons in my brain.  though- last night in a nyquil dream i had an idea of how to construct my first book of poems.  i’m very excited to move forward with that.

though i need the time to move forward.  there are so many things i’d like to read and so many ideas i’d love to flesh out, but teaching kills.
